Move the slider up to increase the volume.I don't know on what level the issue is occurring. 99) The Corsair K100 may be the new king on the hill, but the usurped Razer. Open Volume Mixer by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then, under Sound, clicking Adjust system volume.Observe the volume changes "stuttering" and skipping a lot of steps.Įach volume wheel 'tick' should result in a volume increment/decrement, regardless of how fast the wheel is spun.Roll the volume wheel up/down very rapidly.Have a Corsair K70 (or presumably other keyboard with a volume wheel that translates to keypresses?) g num, caps, and scroll lock indicators h pbt double-shot keycap set i mute key j volume roller: k dedicated multimedia keys l magnetic detachable cushioned leatherette palm rest m 11-zone right lighted n 22-zone rear light edge o usb 2.The debouncing appears to be happening on a different level (PulseAudio perhaps?), or there's some other sort of timing issue involved somewhere. This looks like debouncing behaviour, with something erroneously debouncing the "volume up/down" keypresses, but it doesn't seem to be happening on the Xorg or libinput level, like with the RollerMouse double-click issue xinput test suggests that all of the keypress events are occurring correctly. If I roll it slower, it doesn't skip steps, and behaves as before. Now when I roll it very fast, as one usually does with a volume wheel, it only very intermittently increases/decreases the volume by one 'tick', skipping most of the steps. After upgrading to NixOS 19.09, the volume wheel on my keyboard (Corsair K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE) has stopped working correctly.
